This is a thought-provoking and intriguing article written during this early and mid lockdown phase of Covid 19 based on the inputs from 50 countries Orthopaedics surgeons
The real-time difficulties, disease burden in their respective countries, challenging situations, surgical and theatre modifications, clinics and admissions regulations, adaptations to the lockdown and simultaneous lifestyle changes, surgical frequencies, financial and psychological concerns, laboratory and CT scan usages, social and economic responsibilities, early lockdown release and expected return of normalcy are discussed in brief with rationale explanations. CDC, WHO, ICMR and different countries regulations and their daily updates brought savoury to the script.
Based on the inputs, pragmatic and scientific recommendations with 95% Confidence Interval ( CI), levels of evidence and reliability are made so as to guide us during this hardships
