Anterior resection of ventral spinal osteophyte

0 years old patient was presented with a foreign sensation of the pharynx, dysphagia of both solid and liquid food for 6 months. CT scan showed severe Osteophytosis on C3-C4. Posterior pharyngeal was compressed by anterior spur of C3-C4. Anterior resection of ventral spinal osteophyte was performed via an anterolateral extrapharyngeal approach. Post-operation Dysphagia was resolved.
NOTE: Cervical osteophytes are common but osteophyte causing dysphagia by compressing pharynx and esophagus are unusual.
