As an IMG form India,I constantly feel USMLE is for the super brilliant med graduates.Though i got admission in merit for medical education in one of the top medschools in my country,i went to a below average /poor medical student because i was being stupid and gave importance to developing social skills and other stuffs.Now everyday i cant help but beat myself up for wasting my valuable time spend without studying.Though iam a 2019 graduate,My basics are super weak. if i hard work everyday ,is it possible to get a high step1 score?.I feel like i lack intelligence and brilliance for this journey (bcs my seniors who matched into residency from my college are all those studious 24× 7 in medbooks while they were in college types top medical students ).All my bestest friends aka study partners back in college who tried for (India)home country PG matched into derma radio,IM etc .I cant help but worry about my own future pursuing this journey. —
