Recent in PESCI- Expectant Father Vaccination-
Both parents and baby guardians should receive dTpa vaccine, better for pregnant between 20-32 weeks’ gestations
Remember PESCI is Specific
In most of time provided for free for pregnant lady like in NSW and Victoria
In some states like VIC provided also for free for Parents and guardians include, but are not limited to:
· fathers
· same-sex partners
· foster parents
· adoptive parents
· surrogate parents
· co-parents
Name of program: Parent’s whooping cough vaccine program
Name of vaccine: Boostrix
Need prescription- cost between 33-65 Au$ if not covered as above
Advised for all will come in contact with the child and were did not take it in the last 10 years
