Would anyone be able to advise whether if the internship training rotations included one month of clinical externship would be accepted by the GMC for full registration, especially if someone has had a similar experience?
On their website, it is mentioned that observerships/attachments/shadowing posts are not accepted as evidence of experience. However, it was very common and accepted by my university to have externships abroad as part of the internship training.
I emailed and called the GMC regarding that and they said the internship will only be assessed after passing PLAB 2 and receiving the registration application.
