Hinge craniotomy (bone left in situ)

Retrieve patients bone from refrigeration or implant in abdominal fat layer

Using titanium mesh and methylmethacrylate.

Loss of bone can be intentional such as with decompressive craniectomy. Can be due to infection, tumor invasion, trauma. These are the methods we use to replace the bone.
