Digoxin is also a positive inotropic drug but why isn’t it used in cardiogenic shock and dopamine or dobutamine is preferred…

See in cardiogenic shock, we need not only inotropic effect, but also vasoconstriction. Hence dopamine and norepinephrine is preferred.
