So I have a large red spot on my chest that is partially (but not completely turning brown). It’s about the size of a 50-cent coin. It appeared a few weeks ago after I used the suntan machine at the gym. Does anyone have any awareness of what this is? Apparently I’m going to have to go the hospital to get examined because this could possibly be skin cancer. I have had that in my family as well as, to my knowledge, family members who died from it. So it’s not just automatically me being worried about nothing.
I do not want to hear anyone’s opinion on whether it is skin cancer or not. I only want to hear if anyone here has had anything similar to this which either was or was not skin cancer. I am not seeking medical advice. I will get medical advice from a trained professional, but at the moment, I’m just trying to figure out if this could be some kind of other obvious and much less dangerous problem that someone here readily knows about.
