Naegle’s formula is used to calculate Expected date of delivery (EDD) from Last menstrual period (LMP). Add 7 days and count back 3 months from LMP. Only 4% of pregnant ladies deliver on EDD.

Best time to do USG in pregnancy to rule out maximum congenital anomalies is level 2 scan at 18-20 weeks. It is also detailed survey of fetal anomaly, placental localization and integrity of cervical canal.
