External auditory canal EAC (external ear ) papilloma
Description:
Squamous papilloma is a benign condition. (Viral wart)
Rare presentation in external ear.
Caused by human papilloma virus .
Sometimes an incidental finding,can cause ear fullness,pain and reduced hearing.
Under otoscopic examination, an irregular, granular, mulberry-like neoplastic lesion was found, located at the cartilaginous part of the EAC.
Needs excision (cryotherapy (freezing) ,laser or simple excision),intralesional immunotherapy.
