For all the people who wanted my experience

So I graduated in Jan 2018 from a medical college in Mauritius.
Since I’m an Indian I had to appear for a screening test for my degree to be recognized in India…I gave that screening test ( FMGE) in June 2018.
Got my score in July which was 225/300. That gave me some confidence.
Then I took a break for about 2-3 months
And started my step 1 preparation around october 2018. It was going slow initially till mid Jan , when I realised I need to up the pace…so I worked hard and completed whole syllabus by April first week.
Along with preparing for USMLE I was also doing the compulsory rotatory internship required after doing mbbs.
Then I just revised all the stuff along with wrong questions on uworld first pass…it took me a month and a half.
I was doing offline nbmes on weekends.
I took uwsa 1 in June , scored 240 , I got scared since people said it over predicted.
So , I worked hard to improve.
Then I gave online nbmes
Nbme 22 - 247
Nbme 23 - 246
Nbme 18 - 250
Uswa 2 - 252
I had rest of the nbmes from 11 to 24 offline , did them too.
Real deal - 247
Resources
Most important ones are
FA , uworld (2.5 times) , Dr najeeb ( specially for respiratory system and immunology)
Then I saw some Kaplan videos for psychiatry.
BnB for biochem , genetics , little bit cardio , micro and immuno.
I did biochem dr Sam Turco once.
I used osmosis on YouTube and also dirty USMLE.
Dedicated time 6 months .
In the end I would just say you may feel stressed during the last month of prep time or when u take a date for the exam…but just have confidence and believe in yourself that all the hard work u have put in will pay off.
Good luck guys!
