Hi! I passed PLAB 2 last October, without attending any academies.
I mostly studied on my own, with a few days of practice near the exam with a group of people who had already done OSCE exams before.
I’d recommend geeky medics for the clinical exam questions. It’s free, and has really complete and clear instructional videos. If you’d prefer to read, the Oxford manual is really complete, and I found it easy to follow.
Brush up on your fluid prescribing for paeds, and your ALS algorithms.
I also went over any topics that I didn’t do great in PLAB 1 with my medschool materials.
Keep in mind that every station has 12 points to be awarded, out of which 4 are for interpersonal skills, and on average you need 7ish to pass a station, so be nice to the examiners, actors, etc, and you’ll be halfway there already.
