Hello Guys! Need genuine advice
I am 2018 graduate with following credentials
Step1- 226
Step2 ck- 228
Step2 Cs- Failed
USCE- 3 months. 2 LORs so far. Hopeful to get 1-2 more till Oct 21.
I will be applying through one of the pathway if I decide to apply this year.
Let me share what i think I should apply this year
-This year match is going to be very unpredictable because people are stuck with their step1 and ck because of closure of prometric centers. So I think I should apply
- Secondly, if the above point is valid, next year match is going to be very competitive, with these credentials, it will be difficult to get IVs.
What I think I should not apply this year because
-Firstly, I am not financially very stable I would like to play one match with full preparation. If I apply and did not match this year, next year, if cs resumes I have to take cs and all that traveling and expenses and applying again would be harder for me.
-Secondly, if I work on my cv this year and apply next year with better looking cv to cover below average scores and cs attempt.
Its almost the time to decide, I have no clue what to do. Aiming for IM
