I need help and advice
I am an IMG planning for pathology residency
USMLE step1 220s
USMLE step2 Ck waiting for result
USMLE step 2 Cs exam will be in july
YOG 2017
I am working now as a teaching assistant in pathology in my home country
I am trying to have US clinical experience to strong my application
I emailed different programs with some negative response or no response at all
My last try is with medclaerkship
They offer me a program in Chicago
when I asked about where in Chicago it turns to be in a bad area with high crime rate and bad reputation
A lot of friends and family advice me not to go
What should I do now?
Should I go to the Chicago program or it doesn’t worth?
Is there any other options?
