I am planning to switch my visa from tier 2 Dependant to Tier 2 (general).
Has anyone gone through the process?
(Originally, I am from Bangladesh. I have been living in the UK for last 1 year-as teir2 dependant and started my NHS job in August )
I have few queries about the process and mandatory documents-
- TB certificate: when i came 1 year back i had my TB test done in BD. Also when i started my job they did TB test. Does the fact that I am living in the UK for 1 year makes me exempted from TB test? DO i still need a clearance? if so, can i ask my “occupational health” department to provide a letter stating that I do not have TB
- IELTS UKVI: when i came 1 year back, i had valid UKVI- now its validity is over. Do I need another IELTS UKVI to take? or am I exempted as I have GMC registration/ working in the NHS ? or any letter from Employer mentioning my proficiency will suffice?
- Criminal record/ Police claerance: I did provicde it last time. Do I need it again? if so, do i need clearance from both UK and BD? Can I use my DBS certificate for that purpose?
