I had an ACL reconstruction, allograft & a lateral meniscectomy … 13 days post op. My extension/flexion are looking great according to my PT/surgeon (got the stitches out yesterday) BUT I’m still very dependent on my walker— wondering when everyone started to wein off their walker/crutches… I’m walking around but without the walker, I don’t think I’d be able to.
I’m in PT and have only had two sessions, we haven’t focused on walking yet (we’ve been working on extension, heel slides, flexion). Being safe is most important to me but I’m also curious on when others confidently started walking without assistance. Thanks!
