So I got my result today, I had 245 .
I had targeted over 250 just to go above my step 1 score but I am still thankful for this score given the hurdles. First, I had a demanding job in a busy kidney transplant unit that required me to work 12hrs every weekday and even on some weekends. I also had a devastating heartbreak in the middle of my preparation. Two weeks to the exam, I was refused a visa which I somehow got two days after my exam
Advice
UWorld is okay if basic medical science is good because there is some step 1 on the exam.
Assessment scores
NBME 8: 233 (3 months to exam)
NBME 7: 233 (6wks to exam)
UWSA 2: 244 ( 1 week to exam)
Thanks to Casey Jones and the crash series admin whose questions I attempt every now and then, although I hardly comment.
