I have a few questions about plab. They might sound silly, but please someone help me out

Hi everyone, I have a few questions about plab. They might sound silly, but please someone help me out.

  1. I want to ask what happens after passing plab 2, some people say we can start FY2 training and some people say that we have to start looking for non training jobs. Do we get paid in these non training jobs? So when do we start FY2 or Core training?

  2. Some people also say we have to look for clinical attachment or something which are non paid, after we pass plab 2. So when exactly do we start training as a resident doctor or training for MD/MS degree?

  3. And how to enter the Core training? Is core training in UK equivalent to the MD/MS degree? I mean Can one practice as a doctor/physician in UK after completing the core training? What kind of jobs are there for people who have completed the core training? Are we awarded a degree like MD internal medicine after the core training?

  4. And if one wishes to be a specialist like in cardio or gastroenterologist etc what is the process to go about that?

  5. I also hear the specialist training is also very difficult to get in UK and after passing MRCP/MRCS and PACES we have to again look for non training jobs before we start the specialist training which is again uptown 8 years long. And after that we can be a consultant. So How to enter the specialist training after passing MRCP?

Sorry if my doubts are silly, I’m just confused, I’ll be grateful if someone will please clear these things out for me. Thank you.
