I have noticed after watching and critiquing some Lap cholecystectomy

I have noticed after watching and critiquing some Lap cholecystectomy videos on this forum that many surgeons either don’t understand or don’t believe in the critical view of safety. Replies from some surgeons such as “ I have done thousands of cases and know the anatomy” or “Critical view is only for the beginner surgeons “ or “ critical view is not practical or easy to obtain in acute cholecystitis “ were very alarming to me !
There is clearly no understanding or ignorance to basic concepts like: secure target identification and Trap errors.
I would like to know how most members in this forum feel about this topic ?

This is short talk by professor Strasberg highlighting the concepts I was mentioning and explaining how misidentification injuries can occur. I hope everyone will invest some time watching it
