I was injured on 9/10/2020 at a trampoline park. Here is my diagnosis

Thank you for the add. I was injured on 9/10/2020 at a trampoline park. Here is my diagnosis:

  1. Torn anterior cruciate ligament
  2. Torn posterior horn of medial meniscus
  3. Injury to Hoffa’s fat pad
  4. Large joint effusion
  5. Mild lateral subluxation of the patella.
  6. Sprain of the medial collateral ligament

I am struggling mentally. I have lost a lot of weight recently (160+ pounds), and was really enjoying doing things I couldn’t do previously. I became super active hiking, jogging, kayaking, surfing, soccer and basketball. This injury has me completely emotionally down on myself. I’m terrified I will gain weight back. I’m currently in a complete immobilizer and talk to ortho tomorrow about surgery. I also recently was in the process of starting horse back riding again (I was a competive horse back rider in highschool/college) and JUST got my new riding boots altered literally a few days ago so I could start riding ASAP. How do I overcome this mental bs?
