I was told that I needed home town residency

I was told that I needed contacts

I was told that I needed home town residency

I was told that it was impossible for a guy and they only take women in OB/GYN

I was told I was an old graduate

I was told I needed a lot of money to match in the USA

I was told I needed 250/260 +

I was told I needed research & clinical experience in the same speciality that I applied

I was told that my accent had to sound as a English native

I was told it was impossible for IMG to match into s surgical speciality

I showed them I matched without contacts

I showed them I matched without a residency

I showed them that I matched being a guy

I showed them I matched 2020 after I graduated in 2015

I showed them that I matched with no economically support from my parents or anyone

I showed that I match with 234/244

I showed them them I matched in OB/GYN with USCE & research in a different speciality

I showed them that I matched with my agentinian accent

I showed them that I matched being an IMG

As an IMG you will face TONS of adversities, negativism, you will hear many times: “you can’t”, “its impossible”, “you are wasting your time”, “you need money, contacts”, etc etc etc…

You are doing a great job, continue following your dream, studying, and giving it all. IT IS POSSIBLE!!
