I wondered if anyone had anything similar and therefore top tips / words of advice.
Just had ACL recon. Hamstring. LCL recon. With Lars and lateral meniscus repair.
Both old injuries as lost ACL 25 years ago and LCL was reconstructed 10 years ago with own.
I’m week 5, everything going in the right direction I think. PT seems quite conservative. For now it’s really about reducing swelling ( it’s almost gone) extension, flexion and quad activation, but just with simple legs raises etc. I can now do a bit on the bike 5 to 8 mins twice a day.
Now on holiday for a week so want to know how much walking I can do… what else I can do to keep building.
Quad activation could be better and whilst I can get leg straight? When I activate quads on bad leg, knee slightly bends were on good it slightly hyper extends.
Sorry for waffle. Would love any tips and also milestones I should be working towards.
