Exposure to HIV patient positive or high risk for HIV >>> immediate starting of post exposure prophylaxis ( 1 month ) .
Exposure to chicken pox >>> If no prior immunity , IV Igs within 7 days .After rash appearance , only acyclovir , no role for Igs.
Exposure to dog bite >>> start IV local infiltration of immunoglobulins whenever possible ( up to months after bite) and full course of rabies vaccine at ( 0,3,7,14,28) .If prior vaccination , give additional 2 doses (0,3 days) .
