In anaesthesia it’s said that pt can take aspirin till or on the day of surgery.
My dad has some dental issue and visited a dentist , he asked to wait for 3 days to do minor procedure as he’s on aspirin
Which is correct?? 3 days or on the day of surgery for aspirin?
For major surgery or invasive procedure it’s recommended to stop Antiplatelets 3-5 days prior intervention, minimally invasive procedure like dental procedures, there is no need to withhold aspirin.
