Kimura disease (angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia [ALHE])
—————————————————————Is a rare disorder characterized by nonmalignant masses in the headand neck, lymphadenopathy, marked eosinophilia, elevation of serumIgE, and immune thrombocytopenia, mostly in subjects of Asian ancestry.
Renal involvement with nephrotic syndrome due to MN, FSGS(tip lesion variant), or MesPGN is common.
Steroid therapy is successfulin most cases.
