Step 2 CS: result pending to be release around August 19th.

No published research, but 1 presentation at a major conference/convention
Strong MSPE
I am scheduled to take Step 2 CK on August 23rd. Does anyone know when the approx. dates for release are for this test date? Assuming the score comes after Sept. 15th I have heard it is recommended to apply Sept. 15th anyways and then email programs with an update regarding the score. Is this ok to do? Or super risky as they will have already discarded your application?
