MHQS INFORMATION SESSION FEBRUARY 26 2019

SUMMARY

The Master of Healthcare Quality and Safety (MHQS) is a 1-year residential degree that can be taken either full-time or part-time that provides clinicians and clinical administrators with the operational skills to lead and work effectively in quality improvement and safety initiatives within their organizations. The model of instruction consists of intensive workshops, a longitudinal seminar series and a capstone project.

About Dr. Tess
Anjala V. Tess, MD is the Faculty Director of the Master of Healthcare Quality and Safety Program as well as an Associate Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Tess is a practicing Hospitalist in the Division of General Medicine and Primary Care and is the Associate Chair for Education, Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
