My 6 month old son has had this spot since he was about 3-4onths old. I get it completely cleared with hydrocortisone, per Dr’s orders, then it comes back. He is strictly breast fed, and I have already cut out the main allergen foods. I keep getting told it looks like ringworm. I attempted treatment for it and it got so much worse. My husband, toddler and I have bee in contact with it the last few months, and have not gotten ringworm, so I really don’t thing it’s that. I was then told it’s nummular eczema, which mimics ringworm. I have since stopped the antifungal and hydrocortisone, and have just been keeping it moisturized. Does it appear to be healing?
