Hello, thankyou for accepting me, I’m from the UK, on Saturday I had to go to the hospital as I was having chest pains for over a week, after having tests I got my results
(I’ve attached hospital letter)
My troponin was 3 (apparently that’s fine)
Some damage to my heart but wasn’t clear what it is.
My overall heart score is 3
So I’m a avid gym goer and lift weights, however before I went to the hospital I didn’t look after myself such as
No cardio
Smoking
Fast food diet
Lots of work life and personal life stress
Drinking
Going to bed late
So after it happened I realised I need to change so I have gone a 180degree turnaround
Cardio 15min everyday on stationary bike on level 3
Reduction in smoking
Fruits and vegetables and on a healthy calorie deficit with around 2.5-5liters of water a day
Removing unwanted stress
Minimal drinking
Getting good rest
So for the experts, from what you see, could I still lift weights? My routine is below
Day 1 chest & biceps
Bench press
Curls
Stationary bike 15min
Day 2 back and triceps
Pulldown
Tricep extension
Stationary bike 15min
Day 3 legs and shoulders
Squat
Shoulder press
Stationary bike 15min
I lift weights to help with my mental health its a nice release.
