"Paralabral cysts can range in symptoms

“Paralabral cysts can range in symptoms, from being asymptomatic to causing pain and weakness due to mass effect on the surrounding structures. Most notable of these are supraglenoid cysts within either the suprascapular or spinoglenoid notches, which may impinge on the traversing suprascapular nerve and cause a palsy. If a cyst is within the suprascapular notch both the supra- and infraspinatus muscles will be involved, whereas a spinoglenoid cyst will affect only the infraspinatus muscle. Treatment of these involves conservative modalities and rehab if there is no structural mass on MRI. If there is other structural pathology, as in this case, concurrent decompression while repairing the labral tear has been described with good results. SLAP tears are repaired with suture anchors to the superior glenoid after a bed has been prepared through debridement.”
