Biostats Uworld

FA Step 1 2019

I had taken CK recently, so I just did Uworld and focused on CCS cases before going for the exam.

For the questions I would suggest brushing through FA step 1 (bugs & drugs), doing the biostats questions twice and reading the Step 2 CK tables. Did not use MTB or any other book.

CCS was pretty weird for me, most cases ended in 5-7 mins (the 20 min ones), the 10 min ones were adequately timed. I had a negative patient update for one OBGYN case before I could get the right Rx, others were pretty straightforward. People who’s schedule requires them to take the exam back to back, don’t worry, day 2 Is pretty short, you will finish most of the cases soon and can get out much earlier than expected.

Shout out to Oscar Usmle and Chidambaram, they cover most of how the exam feels and how you should prepare. Do read their experiences (on this group) as well

All the best to everyone preparing

β€” feeling free.
