Specialty Recruitment Assessment 2020 - MSRA / SRA 2020 KEY Changes.

There are 2 important updates to the SRA exam for 2020 as follows:

  1. The professional dilemma paper (SJT) is now 95 minutes instead of 110 minutes, with 50 questions (rather than 58 as in previous years). The clinical paper is unchanged.

  2. The cut-off for direct offers for GP training has been changed to 550 (previously it was 575). This equates to roughly the top 25%-30% of candidates rather than the top 10% as in past years. This means that if can score really well in the SRA (both papers), you have an excellent chance of getting a direct offer for GP (so you can skip the selection centre) and of getting your top choice area!

I have updated all of this in the video recording of our SRA live webinar from last week, which you can view on our Youtube channel here (the video is 88 minutes long!) https://youtu.be/MvjJkGiI-fY

Best wishes to everyone preparing - less than 2 months to go now, so keep working hard on your revision - prepare and you will succeed!
