This group is primary for International Medical Graduates

  1. Aim of the Group
This group is primary for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) aiming to sit PLAB 2 exam or targeting GMC registration, to help, guide and support each other. However, others are also welcome to join the group and post, as long as the discussion remains related to PLAB 2 and GMC registration.
  2. Please Post in English
Please communicate only in English in this group, even if you are commenting on a friend’s post. Posts and comments which are not in English, will be deleted.
  3. Avoid Insensitive Comments
Do not pass derogatory remarks or make fun of others. Such comments will be deleted. The person making these comments will be given a warning. If this is repeated, they will be removed and banned from the group.
  4. Avoid Duplicating Posts
Before posting, please check if someone else has already posted the same query. Duplicated posts might be deleted.
  5. Avoid Irrelevant Comments
Kindly do not post irrelevant comments. New queries should be posted separately. Otherwise, they mlight be ignored or deleted.
  6. Avoid comments with “F”
Comments with “F” will be deleted. People comment like this to get notifications. However, you can also be notified by clicking on the 3 dots on the right upper corner of the post and then clicking on “turn on notifications for this post”.
  7. Avoid asking for PLAB 2 academy reviews in the group.
PLAB 2 academy reviews will be deleted as this almost always leads to an unpleasant exchange. The best way to get input from academies is to check their Facebook pages and speak to the people directly who attended the course.
  8. Avoid Seeking PLAB 2 Date Swaps
Because people have been selling their exam dates, we have placed a ban on posting in the group to look for PLAB 2 date swaps. Anyone who wishes to cancel their exam or book a new one, can do so via the GMC website.
  9. Avoid Advertisments and Spam
Ads are not allowed. This includes ads and contact details posted by academies, recruitment agencies and other group owners. However, relevant articles and group links can be shared.
  10. Avoid Copyright Violation
Please do not post illegal links of copyright material. Such posts and comments will be deleted.
This includes PDF versions/notes of study material from different academies. They’ve made such a huge effort to make these notes and it’s unfair if these are distributed illegally. If anyone wants notes of a particular academy , contact the academy directly. You should get them anyway when you join it.
