As you know new training rotations are starting from tomorrow. Trusts will soon realise they have gaps on rotas and will rush to recruit more doctors, which I believe they are already doing over the last month or so.

A recent job advert for junior doctors in my trust attracted around 60 applications. But remember those 60 people also must have applied for 100 other jobs so odds are still very good.

Many IMGs I know who came about a year ago are now all starting their training posts in their preferred specialities from this August.

Psychiatry & GP training post recruitment second round is currently open and recruiting more doctors.

From October onwards, the round one advets of all speciality & GP training along with acedemic fellows will be advertised. So hundreds of more openings coming soon.
