Vaccine against Covid-19 from India, developed in Hyderabad, not very far.
Developed by hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech - named Covaxin - has been granted permission by Drug Controller General of India(DGCI) to initiate Phase I & II Human clinical trials.
It is an inactivated vaccine developed and manufactured in Bharat Biotech’s BSL-3 high containment facility in Genome Valley, Hyderabad(Telangana)
