Why to reduce cutoff of NEET pg? Isn't it killing the crux of single exam and single merit

Why to reduce cutoff of NEET pg??? Isn’t it killing the crux of single exam and single merit…

As majority is seats available after reduced cut off are either from management quota or Deemed uni and once centralized counselling gets over, they are selling the seats to student whoever is paying them more money and not as per merit even with reduced cutoff…

The solution is there should be rule that once seat is not filled up by centralized counselling then there should be merit based open round in which unfilled seats should be offered to students with uniform reduction in original fees ( preferably half of the original fees)…rather than decreasing cut off…

Because seat which was left unfilled is due to higher fees and not due to lack of qualified students…

So basically it is Rich students who didnt qualify in first place vs not so rich but deserving amd qualified student who could not take seat due to high fees…The choice is yours…

Cut off is demanded by all those dumb kids with rich parents to buy the seat. Ignore them
