Try this first. No soap and water or other topicals. I believe the baking soda soaks are the simplest and often effective approach to these rashes all physicians see. Many otc topicals or plant based products can aggravate so avoid them. Everyone wants a diagnosis but they don’t know how to approach the problem to begin with. Topical steroids and antifunguals are given with out a diagnosis. So called shotgun therapy. If eruptions persist then further history is needed and then perhaps a topical steroid. It appears to me that the art of the koh hasn’t been developed unfortunately. This particular case is not a tinea anyway and is either a heat rash, miliaria, or contact dermatitis.
