presents to the surgery due to an
exacerbation of her asthma.
On examination her peak flow is
300 l/min (usual 450 l/min)
and she can complete sentences.
Pulse is 90 bpm
and the respiratory rate is 18 / min.
Examination of the chest reveals a bilateral expiratory wheeze
but is otherwise unremarkable.
