Interesting case update -1

A 51 years old lady, referred with left side pneumonia with effusion. Imaging revealed a large 15x14 cm sized left lobe liver abscess with free gas at the core, with appendicitis as possible etiology. On laparoscopic drainage, found communication with the stomach, “Hepatogastric fistula.” The repair has done along with appendectomy. The patient improved dramatically, started on liquids day-3, discharged on day-6.

There are a handful of cases reported so far, probably only one with lap repair?

Anyone with a similar experience?
