A CASE OF 26 / MALE

Diagnosed case with Soft tissue sarcoma of the Right knee last 2017.

S/P radical resection of tumor (06-30-17); 2019- noted palpable mass located just below the previous tumor.

T/C tumor recurrence. Ongoing chemotherapy x3 cycles (May 2020-present). Follow-up post treatment

CT Scan Result:

CLINICAL INFORMATION: Soft tissue Sarcoma S/P Radical Resection 6/30/17. On-going chemotherapy x 3 cycles

May 2020 - present. T/C tumor recurrence.

COMPARISON: None

TECHNIQUE: Multislice (128MDCT) axial sections of the Right Lower Extremity without and with contrast

There is a lobulated enhancing soft tissue attenuation mass seen in the lateral aspect of right proximal leg measuring

around 7 x 6 x 6.7 cm (CCxTxAP). There is erosion of the lateral tibial condyle and the lateral tibial plateau. A smaller

well-circumscribed mass is seen at the proximal level measuring 2.7 x 2.5 x 3.2 cm at lateral aspect of the knee level.

There is note of partial erosion of the lateral femoral condyle.

Larger soft tissue mass seen at the proximal to middle 3rd segment lateral of leg lateral to the tibia. It measures around

15.7 x 6 x 7 cm (CCxTxAP) demonstrating calcifications within and with nodular enhancement in the post-contrast

scan.

Foci of sclerosis with lucent lesions seen in the right distal femur, patella and proximal tibia and fibula. Lucent lesions in

the distal tibia and the imaged tarsal bones. Vessels are opacified and patent.

The left femur and tibia-fibula as well as the rest of the included osseous structures are intact.

Imaged pelvic soft tissue structures are unremarkable.

IMPRESSION:

ENHANCING MASSES IN THE PROXIMAL TO MIDDLE THIRD LATERAL ASPECT OF THE RIGHT LEG

WITH EROSION OF THE LATERAL TIBIAL CONDYLE - LATERAL TIBIAL PLATEAU AND EROSION OF

THE LATERAL FEMORAL CONDYLE / EPICONDYLE. FINDINGS CONSISTENT WITH TUMOR

RECURRENCE.

FEATURES OF OSTEOPENIA AND OR METASTASES INVOLVING THE RIGHT FEMUR, RIGHT TIBIA-

FIBULA AND IMAGED TARSAL BONES
