Strong positive mantoux, go for ct chest
tell me, normal diameters of mountex test by a age wisely?
Sir actually as per my knowledge, age is not a factor of size, rather bcg vaccinated individuals may give false positive results, though individuals with low immunity/ immunocompromised ones live with HIV or recent exposures or contacts or travel to endemic regions may be positive at 5mm Or more induration but among healthy subjects more than 15 mm induration should raise the suspicion
Should be check for AIDS also extra than TB, ESR to done
Strong positive Mantoux, pls do HIV, CXR PA view and ESR…
TB confirmed. ATB drugs. Screening if high risk.
May be false positive due to BCG Vaccination,if ESR is 08.
