Anyone knows about ireland registration? If it needs an exam or can we apply without exam even if oet is done??

Pres 1= General Registration on their website
Pres 2= Pass and use Plab 1 or USMLE, Australian Medical Exam, or New Zealand exam as alternative as Ireland does not conduct Pres 2 exams but uses these options
Pres 3= is Ireland Clinical osce and examinations done in Ireland similar to.plab 2 but note that Plab 2 is not accepted as a substitute for Pres 3 in Ireland

For some selective countries like pakistan, australia, etc 1 year housejob, certificate from your medical council, and oet, is awll that is needed to apply for job or registration
D MC ( Irish Medical Council)REGISTRATION process step by step Guide : exemption entitles you General registration only. This apply to doctors who have completed House Job after 2008. Graduates from other counties but registered in Pakistan and completed HJ in Pakistan can also apply.
Step 1 -Complete your house job , apply for experince certificate from PMDC , along with your usual house job certificate.

Step 2 : IELTS ( score 6.5 minimum and 7 average) try to do oet /IELTS as soon as possible .if you manage somehow to do IELTS during your house job it will save you a lot of your time. Valid for 2 years.
STEP 3 : Make an online epic account ,better to make an account during house job ,and upload your medical degree first and experince certicate after house job. You dont need to upload both documents together so don’t wait for experince certicate better to upload degree during house job until you get your other certificate just to save some time . It appears from other doctors experience that one has to go PMDC for experience Certificate , pay their fee and courier fee. Please don’t ask me how it works as I live in Ireland. For epic you need passport, scan passport size pictures and scan copy of your degree . Setting an epic account is easy and pretty straight forward .There is help to guide you step by step .It will cost you some money as well ,I don’t remember exact figure but I think you should have around 30,000-40,000 Rs. in your account for online transactions . See Euro price has increased.
- [ ] Step 4 .After epic and oet /IELTS you need to make an account with IMC .At this stage , you need to request epic to send your documents to IMC , online . Moreover, you need to send oet/iElts result with a cover sheet to imc by post and for good standing certificate you need to request pmdc to send it directly to imc by post .You have to pay pmdc for courier service fee. Finally, IMC will send you a form by post to complete and you send it back by post .It normally takes around 2 months to complete the registration process after submitting all of your documents , however, may take longer especially in COVID time as restriction are still in place and non urgent staff is redeployed.
This process is standard for all graduates after 2009 and completed house job in Pakistan and of course have registration with PMDC .
Doctors who have completed Masters or FCPS still have to go through this process.
Please bear in mind specialist registration directly from Pakistan is near to impossible. Please read at IMC site directly if you wish to start that process. IMC Annunal tension fee is 607 Euros for doctors working in Ireland .
When you fill statement re indemnity cover , choose you are are not working in Ireland. I think that is last option.

I have forgotten tbh. They need a specified amount of time in each rotation plus 3 month in GM and 3 months in GS.
I couldn’t meet their requirement so I stopped pursuing it altogether. I don’t exactly remember now. So go n have a look
