Baby Was Born 3 Months Early. My Jaw Dropped Open When I Saw His Photos In A Year

Ward Miles was born 3 1/2 months premature. He was only 1.5 pounds (0.68kg) and fighting to stay alive. His family was unsure if the doctors would be able nurse him to a healthy size. Because of this, they wanted to make sure they were cherishing the moments Ward was in their lives, no matter how long it was. Ward’s father, Benjamin, decided he would document every step of his road to becoming healthy, on camera.

The hope was that, this would inspire others who watch the video and work towards overcoming obstacles, seen as impossible, in their own lives. It also documented memories of Ward and his mother during their journey together. For 107 days, he was in the hospital, fighting for his life, with his devoted parents by his side.

Throughout the video, you see the doctors hard at work, getting Ward to breath with the assistance of a machine. After months of fighting, he finally reaches a breakthrough and is able to go home.

Ward finally gets to go home and enjoy life with his parents and dog. Watching Ward grow into a strong, healthy, one-year old is so extremely endearing and heartwarming.
