Definitely cheaper than what people here give for MD/MS in private colleges for 3 years and the return is huge after completing it successfully…in one you are trained wheras in private you are on your own many a times
I don’t know about details. It is not easy, and process is lengthy. Thats also reason for hiring Indian. Not many britishers will to go through 8yrs residency for medical . Hence vacancy available for medical work.
Whole europe and usa canada have deficiencies for medical workers. Taxi drivers and plumbers earn as much money as regular doctors and very less training requirements for them. They don’t need medical degree for job security.
Better to learn about usmle /mrcp/mrcs for better future if private sector also fails us in India.
who told that these countries are welcoming foreign trained docs ? Day by day they are making the pathways not conducive for foreign docs.e.g. from passing IELTS/ OET exam to multiple steps with external observships, LORs and so one. The whole process is time consuming and involves a lot of financial liabilities. Earlier it was easier as they were need of docs. But there are new laws favouring their own docs. In Europe union , they prefer doc from EU only. Now they need more nursing staffs, paramedics , that’s why they are giving more emphasis on that. some countries reimburse the costs born by these nursing , paramedics also. Now there is a paradigm shift in approach towards health facility in these countries.
