Reticular layer of dermis
Superficial connective tissue sheaths of muscles and nerves
Adventitia of large blood vessels
Capsules of various glands and organs
Periosteum
Perichondrium

Dense regular connective tissue
Forms connection between different tissues
Collagen fibres are bundles in parallel fashion
Elastic and reticular fibres are completely absent
Divided into white fibrous and yellow fibrous connective tissue, which may be either of cord or sheet arrangement
