Severe preeclampsia:
diagnosed by the presence of 1 or more of the following:

SBP > 160 mm Hg or a DBP > 110 mg Hg on two occasions >6 hours apart in a pregnant woman who is on bed rest;

Proteinuria - excretion of:
5 gm of protein in a 24-hour urine specimen ,or
3+ on two random urine dips collected 4 hours or more apart
- Oliguria, with excretion < 500 ml of urine in 24 hrs;
4)Pulmonary edema or cyanosis;
- Other problems
Impairment of liver function;
Visual or cerebral
disturbances (e.g., headache)
Pain in the epigastric region or
right upper quadrant;
Decreased platelet count
(< 100,000)
Intrauterine growth restriction
