Total bed - 800+ , jci accreditation+

Workload- huge , on an average working timings can range from 8am to 6pm (±) 2 hours. Daily cases can range from 45 to 60 on an average.

Exposure- 15 functional ot ( urology , robotic transplant unit , ctvs , neuro, general cases , Orthopedics, gynae, oncosurgeries etc) + mri/ct scan sedation + gi scopy sedation + brachytherapy + cathlab and interventional radiology, critical care unit (medicine, surgical, neuro, onco and respiratory)

Cutting/ handson - very good specially for usg guided regional anesthesia technique , different interventional procedures , one lung ventilation to name a few

Critical care medicine- one of the biggest critical care units in Eastern region, posting duration- 4 months ( if you are really interested you can also learn ivc guided fluid therapy , 2d echocardiography , intracranial doppler etc)

On calls - depending on the number of students , maybe once a week/twice a week on call with post on call off day.

Academics - we have a separate lounge for lectures , weekly journal club , case presentation. Strong academics. Central library available

Faculty - student friendly, although getting casual leaves can be difficult sometimes.

Stipend - 45 - 48k (primary) , 56-58k (secondary ) on hand after tds
