Do you admit you patients that you have used cornea glue on over a perforation ?
not necessary, if u have used glue it means the perforation is smaller than 2 mm. put a bandage contact lens and start antibiotics and u can follow up daily. no need for admission
i do not admit. i follow up daily. also finding the cause of the perforation is important.
Are u a cornea Surgeon? if not please refer to a cornea Surgeon as a perforation of cornea is a serious issue and a cornea surgeon is well trained to handle it. what checks i do depends on case to case basis. Thank u
I am not a cornea surgeon but I had a perforation which I feel was handled terribly by Dr. Refused cornea graft. Never leak tested. Never gave anti biotics. Follow up 2 weeks. Used I care to peck at cornea.
i am sorry for your condition but i cannot comment on that. i would advice you to take second opinion. Also the best thing to always do is to sit with your doctor and discuss the plan of management with him/her. I always take time to explain everything to the patient so that they understand what is going on. I am sorry u had a perforation. I pray and hope u recover soon. God bless
