Doctors and people in authority have just lost all sense of empathy
Same thing happened to me. There was no one at home except my maa who got sick af. And the SR (Gynae) was not even on duty. I called her up and she said… First ask someone to cover up for you.
After the posting, I held no respect for her. I never ever wish her gm or anything… Even when she’s right besides me. She herself was not on duty. There was no PG. Just me… An intern.
Some seniors are just pathetic
Exactly… it’s disgusting now a days… seniors don’t even think how juniors must be suffering
This is so damn normalized in our work places that not only seniors but also colleagues behave very pathetic during such crisis times…I had faced such long back…
completely opposite happened in my dept… all thanks to dept I was immediately relived from duties and all consultant and HOD guided for treatment of my mother… Very very supportive my Co residents and all Seniors in those crisis …
Doctors are themselves responsible.They are more concerned about their godlike image than their rights.
