so things like glycolic acid or lactic acid or salicylic acid, depending on skin type… otc retinols… paula’s choice has some good prodcuts for those, ordinary has the lactic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C helps too…but pick one or two things and stick to the routine. The acids take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to show proper results whereas retinol will show significant results in about 3 months. It is all about commitment and consistency with the products. And of course dont skip out on the sunscreen.

Im currently using salicylic acid based exfoliant and hyaluronic acid in the form of the hydroboost body gel from neutrogena

Thanks so much! I have had some adverse reactions to lactic acid so I will do some patching first. But thank you

we gotta do more than that tbh…i have tan skin tone so mine tends to get more uneven and hyperpigmented if i leave it untreated…so half my skin looks lighter and the other half looks darker… i wish somebody had told me about some tips like 7 or 8 years ago…
